Biography: Laura Steman is an experienced healthcare innovator in the Netherlands. As the founder of Floortje App BV, Laura aims to empower healthcare professionals by helping them make effective choices regarding healthcare technology. With over 18 years of experience in the healthcare sector, starting as a bedside nurse and later as a manager, Laura has deep insight into the challenges faced in the workplace. Her experience enables her to consider relevant conditions when implementing technologies, such as costs, safety, and practical applications in daily caregiving. Laura supports organizations in addressing their societal challenges with one goal in mind: to provide all individuals with the support they need to continue leading their own lives, both now and in the future. In her role as Regional Project Leader for Care Technology at Zorggroep Solis, she has led the implementation, scaling, and anchoring of innovative healthcare technologies and social innovations, contributing to the improvement of healthcare practices. Laura Steman is an advocate for thoughtful solutions, with a strong focus on optimizing the well-being and care experience for both clients and caregivers.

Summary: Floortje is an innovative tool that supports healthcare professionals in their daily tasks while enhancing the quality of life for clients. On the first day of the conference, we will present Floortje in its current form, allowing visitors to engage with it and discover new healthcare technologies. At the end of the day, we are proud to launch Floortje AI, a new tool that can further improve the efficiency of caregiving. On the second day, attendees will have the chance to see Floortje AI in action and explore its capabilities. Floortje creates room for caregivers by reducing unnecessary tasks and assisting them in integrating technologies into their care plans, which facilitates more personal attention for clients.
