- Els Ducheyne is senior manager within the Janssen Environmental Product Compliance & Sustainability team, part of Johnson & Johnson’s Office of Sustainability. She supports the design of sustainable products and solutions through assurance of material compliance, end of life solutions and end-to-end data management. Els coordinates the Digital Health in a Circular Economy (DiCE) project, a public-private partnership with 20 partners across the entire value chain of digital health devices (DiCE | DiCE Project (circulardigitalhealth.eu)). This project is funded under the Horizon Europe program. During the last years, she has been working closely with the device community and sustainability experts in the pharmaceutical industry. She is also deeply involved in shaping policy and is co-chair of the EPFIA Circular Economy Expert Network under the EHS expert group. Els holds a PhD in Bio-engineering from the Ghent University, Belgium.
