Biography
Liga Berzina is a founder of Uzvediba.lv, an innovative organization dedicated to improving social and emotional competencies in educational settings. With a background in teaching, design and extensive school experience, she has developed practical tools that help educators address challenging behaviors, foster inclusive classrooms, and support student well-being. Līga’s expertise also encompasses the field of occupational violence prevention and developing tools for workplace conflict resolution. She believes that wherever there is behavior, there is an opportunity for the right tool, game, or instrument to guide it toward positive transformation. Beyond her work at Uzvediba.lv, Līga serves as the Head of the Board of the Latvian Autism Association and she is a member of Executive comitee in Autism Europe, where she advocates for the rights and needs of individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.

Educators are in need of evidence-based, proactive tools to understand the root causes of disruptive behavior and foster positive growth. Uzvediba.lv, a Latvian-based organization, offers an innovative approach informed by behavioral science. In this session, we will showcase how Uzvediba.lv’s practical, skill-building resources—ranging from educational games to interactive exercises—can transform classroom dynamics, even a conflicting group dynamics and individual behavior. By attending our session, participants will gain a deeper understanding of what drives challenging behavior and learn how to implement interactive, science-based tools to cultivate more positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.
